Don't worry,...Yoga will be really good for you. Don't worry, the mind going crazy while in Shavasana (the laying down pose at the end) gets easier each time. I've been doing yoga for several months now and I still find myself worrying mentally about something. I still haven't achieved the full "being present" stuff, but I'm getting there and I'm already at the point where I really can relax by body, if not my mind the entire time. It does seem a little silly, the things they say, but it's simply because we're so out of practice at this kind of exercise. It's pretty much the only exercise I've ever enjoyed and done for more than 1 month straight. I don't think I'll ever quit. That may be because I have are really freaking awesome instructor a mile from where I live. We only do the last pose for 10-15 minutes and she say things that make more sense and aren't quite so "soft" or whatever.
